How to unhide your file extensions in XP and Vista/Windows 7

1. Go to start>Control Panel

1. Click on >Folder Options

2. Now go to >View tab> Then uncheck the box “Hide extensions for known file types” >click Apply>then OK. That’s it done.

Now you can see the file extensions on all file types.
