Remote Desktop Web Connection

Type the name of the remote computer you want to use, select the screen size for your connection and the devices you wish to connect, and then click Connect.

Server: is your external IP or Domain Name.
If connecting locally, then use local IP or PC full name.

Connection Port: is the custom port you set for each PC's Remote Desktop program in the Registry, if not just use the standard port already showing.

Size: is of course the window viewing size.

Check Box: for enhancing add-ons.

User Name: is your user name on the PC you are connecting to.

Domain: is the PC's local IP or PC full name, depending on how or where you connect from, this is usually needed when connecting externally.

Note: The "Enhance Performance" option will disable menu animations and wallpaper to improve video performance.


Vista standard Connection port is "3390"
XP standard Connection port is "3389"
